About Us
The story behind Chicago’s kids’ silent disco.
It Started on a Dance Floor in Punta Cana
Scott and his wife stumbled onto a silent disco at a resort in Punta Cana. On paper, it sounded strange. In person, it was mesmerizing.
Back home in Chicago, there were only two ways to get one: a rental box you’d have to figure out yourself, or an expensive service with three live DJs.
But here’s the thing—the magic isn’t the DJs. It’s the headphones. So we pre-mix excellent music, bring everything, and run the whole party ourselves. Full service, without the three-DJ price tag.
And nobody, anywhere—as far as we could tell—was doing it for kids. Games you can only play with glowing headphones? A whole new kind of fun waiting to be invented? We couldn’t resist.

Meet Scott
Chicago Silent Disco Company founder Scott Green has 20+ years experience entertaining Chicago kids. He built Chicago Foam Company, the city’s first full-service foam party provider, from the ground up, along with the Galaxy on the Go mobile planetarium, Eureka Mini Golf STEM-enrichment program, and other incredible activations for kids and families.
Scott saw a gap in easy-to-host music and dance parties for children and families, and realized fully-hosted silent disco parties—something brand new in this market—would be great fun for a wide range of ages to celebrate together.
A 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law, Scott never practiced. Instead he became an accomplished family magician, with credits including “Penn & Teller: Fool Us,” Chicago Bulls team magician, and more local TV credits than he can count. His book on entertaining mixed-age audiences became a magic industry bestseller, and he has a residency at iO Theater, “Scott Green Lies To Your Kids.”

Meet Jordan
The heart of our playlist compilation for kids’ events, Jordan serves as our Children’s Music Director.
Despite being just 11 years old, Jordan is an accomplished guitarist and vocalist. She has trained under Puddle of Mudd guitarist Josh Gilbert and sang with Natalie Merchant — backed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra — on Merchant’s family-music project Cabinet of Wonder.
Jordan reviews our playlists, scouts new songs, and keeps the vibes for our children and family events contemporary. Her biggest music influences include Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo, and she always appreciates a good Weird Al song (though he’s not on any of our playlists).
The Team
Your party host might be Quinn, Kiron, or Julia—friendly, professional, background-checked, and suspiciously good at the headphone games.
We Do Fun for a Living
